There's something I genuinely love helping people with, and that's trauma. Especially single-incident trauma.
Car accidents. Sexual assault. Medical shock. Birth trauma. A sudden fall. A violent impact. A moment where time slowed and your body went into full survival mode.
I love working with this kind of trauma because it's often far less complicated than people imagine.
When something intense and sudden happens, it creates what I see as a charged imprint in the system. It's like a pocket of energy that sits there, unresolved. It doesn't disappear just because time has passed. It waits. And every time something reminds your nervous system of that original moment, the charge lights up again.
That's why someone can wake at the exact second of impact months later. Why driving feels impossible after a crash. Why a smell, a sound or a tone of voice can take you straight back as if it's happening now.
It isn't weakness. It's unfinished survival energy.
And with one-off trauma especially, it can clear much more quickly than people expect.
I ask you to talk about what happened. Not in a dramatic, retraumatising way. Just starting with the first detail that comes to mind and describing it. As you speak, I can feel and see where the energy is still linked in your system. That's the part we work with.
People often think they're coming to clear one event. Underneath that headline trauma there are usually other layers. Earlier shocks. Forgotten moments. Small but intense experiences that never fully processed at the time.
The mind loops on the biggest story while the quieter imprints sit underneath, untouched.
So we gently follow what surfaces. We clear what's active. We continue until nothing else carries charge.
The memory doesn't vanish. It simply loses its grip. It becomes something that happened, not something that is still happening inside the body. You can recall it without your nervous system reliving it.
I've watched people who haven't slept properly for months begin sleeping again. I've seen driving become neutral instead of terrifying. I've watched bodies soften in real time once the charge moves.
People often believe they have to live with it. They assume trauma recovery must take years of talking and revisiting and analysing.
Complex or repeated trauma can require deeper work. Single-incident trauma often behaves very differently. It's more like a contained imprint waiting to be released.
I work online via Zoom, and I actually prefer it. It keeps the sessions focused and energetically clean.
If your body is still reacting to a moment from the past, that doesn't mean this is your new normal. It means something is still active in the system.
And when that energy clears, the body knows it's safe again.

I'm not a doctor or psychologist and I don't diagnose. This work sits alongside medical and psychological care, not in place of it.
